Poms performing at half time of the first basketball game in the new RMHS gym, Jan 18, 2008. The next day, they won 1st place in the Northwest Invitational, with captain Sarah Triolo winning 2nd place captain's award.
More from Jan 18 in the new gym -- the competition routine is 7 and a half exhausting minutes long, but the Poms got high marks at competition for keeping their energy up throughout and for their "consistently excellent" kicks.
Thank you, RM Drummers -- the competition wouldn't be the same without you! This clip is from the start of the Feb 2 competition.
Kimmi Barnhill, a senior Pom, starts the game off (Feb 1, 2008) with an incredible rendition of the national anthem (we look forward to saying we knew you when, Kimmi). Thanks to Tom and Ann Barnhill for the video.
A brief shot of one of RM's great moments during the game in which they fought their way back to lead Sherwood at the end of the game, only to lose by one point in the last second of the game. It was a great game to watch. Congratulations to the Rockets for their tenaciousness.
